Overview
This Refund Policy applies to fees paid for Pixoye’s subscription plans, add-ons, and related digital services (including gallery hosting, share links, storage, and optional features such as face-matching workflows). Pixoye provides software and cloud infrastructure—not physical goods. By purchasing or renewing a plan, you acknowledge the nature of the Service and the limitations on refunds described below.
General rule: fees are non-refundable
Except where required by applicable law or as expressly stated in this policy, all charges are final and non-refundable. This includes, without limitation:
- Subscription or recurring plan fees after they have been successfully charged;
- One-time purchases, upgrades, or top-ups (for example, additional storage or capacity);
- Charges for periods you did not use the Service, forgot to cancel, or changed your mind after payment;
- Fees paid where you have already received access to paid features, dashboards, APIs, or hosted content delivery.
Digital services are deemed supplied when access is granted or renewal occurs. We do not offer refunds for “unused time” within a billing cycle or for partial months or years.
Cancellations and downgrades
You may cancel or downgrade your subscription according to the controls in your account and our Terms & Conditions. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any past billing period unless the law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
Trials and promotional pricing
If we offer a free trial or promotional price, the terms shown at signup or checkout apply. Unless we state otherwise, converting from a trial to a paid plan or failing to cancel before the trial ends will result in charges under the same non-refund approach above, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
Service availability and feature results
Pixoye aims to keep the Service reliable. Temporary outages, maintenance, third-party provider issues, or limitations of face-matching accuracy (which depend on image quality, lighting, and configuration) do not, by themselves, create a right to a refund. We may credit or extend service at our discretion for significant prolonged failures, but we are not obligated to do so.
Billing errors and duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge for the same invoice), contact us promptly via our contact page with details. We will review verifiable billing mistakes and may issue a correction, refund, or account credit where appropriate.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so we can investigate. Abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of your account under our Terms.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot be limited under the laws that apply to you (for example, certain consumer protection rules). If mandatory law provides a right to cancel or receive a refund in your situation, that law will apply despite the general non-refund rule above.
Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version published on this page (and updates managed in our CMS) reflects the current terms. Material changes may also be communicated as described in our Terms & Conditions or by email where appropriate.
